ftv_uptab − add spans to an uptab(5) file for automatic power-on |
ftv_uptab [ -c DBFILE ] -u UPTAB |
If the Shuriken Uptime Scheduler is installed, ftv_uptab(1) syncs the specified uptab(5) file with the furious_tv database. This allows a system to automatically power on/off in order to save power. ftv_uptab(1) should be run after modifying record flags in the database. So after marking a few shows for recording, be sure to run ftv_uptab(1). Running ftv_uptab(1) in a modified tryhalt(8) script may also be desirable if you do not wish to run ftv_uptab(1) after every database editing session. For more information on Shuriken, look at the project’s web site: http://shuriken.sourceforge.net/ |
